The italian ice really is good, what can I say. If you strain, you can see my reflection in the car's paint.

It appears that his fancy "i love firefighters" license plate and "fraternal order of police" stickers on the windshield have protected this illegally parked car from the nasty $100 bike lane fine.

3 cars parked in the bike lane today on the evening commute. This one was foolishly parked unambiguously inside the tunnel, subjecting himself to an additional $75 on top of the $100 fine he should have received.

2 cars today on my way home. This car is often in the bike lane, and today it had a suspicious laminated sign in the window that said OFFICIAL BUSINESS. OK, you are still parked in the bike lane, dude.

This one is gone every morning, and then reappears in the evening. I only catch it on my evening commute. great.

4 cars in the bike lane in front of the University Station condo building makes me 4x as angry.

Its still not ticketed. There were two cars parked in this bike lane: second car's plate is J280411.

EDIT: This car finally had a parking ticket by 6pm 7-28-08.

This car was parked here for over 48 hours-- still no ticket despite 3 calls to the police.

that's my bikelight shining on the plate. The distance photos didnt come out because it was dark out. The night watchman was paying very careful attention to me as I took this photo.

This car was parked in the North-bound bike lane on S. Blue Island in front of the condo building at 1550 S. Blue Island.

Truck parked in the bike lane. I called the company to let them know that one of their drivers was parked in a bike lane. I love that you can see an SUV in the traffic lane to my right-- a little demonstration of the danger I would be in shortly in order to pass the truck.

What is even more interesting about this photo is the wide-open non-bike-lane curb space this dude could have parked in.

Another day, another two cars parked in the bike lane in front of the glorious condo at 1550 S. Blue Island. Car #2 is a Porsche SUV and has license plate number 3681 and its a damn "peace on earth" plate design.

I know I do not feel peaceful when I have to veer into traffic as I enter a hellish tunnel because these creeps were too lazy to find a legal parking spot.

Again, a third traffic with passengers inside was also parked here with hazards on. What is with this place?

Two SUVs in the southbound bike lane in front of 1550 S. Blue Island, as usual. Second car's license plate "LE LE 4". There was actually a third car with a passenger in it and hazards on. Called 911, as usual.

A Corona beer delivery truck pointed west on the eastbound side of the street blocked the bike lane on Taylor. Police car passed the spectacle, but did not seem to mind. I stopped to take a picture, and the driver yelled at me. I said, "Sorry, you are in the bike lane." He sarcastically responded, "Oh I am? I am really sorry." I told him he'd be much more sorry when I posted a photo of his delivery truck online.
