The reason everyone parks in this lane is that the cops do it first.

This Sherrif's vehicle is frequently in this particular bike lane. The driver said she has to park there because they tell her to, and because otherwise she would have to cross Ogden. She also told me that she generally tries to park ON THE SIDEWALK to keep out of the bike lane.

Call 311 when this happens. They send the cops and the car gets a $100 ticket. I do this every single time. It's satisfying.
